The Nautilus
Originally designed by Bo Nordh, this exquisite Nautilus by Peter Heeschen is shown along with the shell of the marine mollusk that inspired it. Below is depicted an exquisite example in the virgin sandblast finish. The curves of this shape are difficult to imagine, and not much easier to photograph. There's a wonderful elegance to it, and the complete absence of straight lines.
